I've lived in Oklahoma, off and on for over 5 years now. With the help of my husband Cody, who was raised here and our friends, who have lived here a long time, I seem to find a new and exciting place to eat at every weekend. You might think that because OKC is a huge metropolis, that this task would eventually get more difficult, but if you are not a local you do not know the secret. Our city is growing at a rapid rate. There are more districts than ever, with unique places to eat, drink, shop, and be entertained. Each is special in its own way, drawing people in with the their unique style and look.
Over the next few weeks, I will be talking about 9 different districts: (1) Asian District, (2) Automobile Alley, (3) Bricktown, (4) Deep Deuce, (5) Midtown, (6) Paseo Art District, (7) Plaza District, (8) Uptown, and (9) Western Avenue. While there are other districts to talk about, each district listed above has great places to eat, wonderful store and a variety of entertainment to keep you busy. While I will not have time to talk about all the festivals each district hosts, make sure to check out the links I provide to see what is going on when you plan on visiting the district.
Q: Is there a district in OKC I missed that you think I should cover? Do you have a favorite place in one of the districts listed that you think I should mention? Drop me a line below and let me know.
