In a world where there are a million different travel app's, it can be hard to decide which ones you should download and which should not make it on to your SD card. This post will help you find the best travel apps out there.

This info-graph is broke up into eight categories to make it easier for you to find the app that is right for you. I do have a few favorites that I want to highlight at the beginning before you really dive into all this info. Trip It is great for organizing all your information into one easy to read itinerary. City Mapper has been a life savor with all my travels in NYC because it helps you easily maneuver the transit system and I love the saved location option for easy access (Note: This is for most major cities). Touch Note is my favorite Social app because you can create unique postcards with your own pictures, add text and then send them, all through this simple app. It is a great way to share you trip with loved ones. The last app I want to mention is Time Out. It is a great app for finding entertainment like a local in a lot of major cities. You will not find touristy attractions on this app, but rather interesting options that locals are going to be attending.

So there you have it. Those are my top apps, but believe me, there is more exploring to do, so check out the info-graph below for more ideas.
